We remember: 907 Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi Germany on the MS St. Louis
who were refused entry to Canada and the USA.
We are Canadian Jews dedicated to protecting human rights and freedoms throughout the world.

If Not Now, When? is a passionate and inclusive Jewish activist group in Victoria, BC, dedicated to upholding the fundamental human rights and freedoms of all individuals. Our name derives from Rabbi Hillel's call to pursue a better, more just, world. While our mission encompasses advocating for justice globally, our core focus lies in defending the rights of Palestinians living under Israeli military occupation.

Drawing inspiration from Jewish religious and secular traditions of social justice, as well as the historical experiences of resilience in the face of oppression, our group urges Canadians to take tangible steps towards safeguarding and advancing human rights in Israel/Palestine, Canada, and beyond. We believe that compassion, justice, and liberty transcend borders and are essential to creating a more equitable world.

Let us know who you are.
We'd love to hear from you!

(Note: we are a Jewish group in Victoria, B.C., unaffiliated with IfNotNow USA)
